About the ACCP

Founded in 1935, the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) is an international multidisciplinary specialty society with 16,500 members in more than 100 countries. Its mission is to promote the prevention and treatment of diseases of the chest through leadership, education, research, and communication. As the leading resource for the improvement in cardiopulmonary health and critical care worldwide, the ACCP provides educational activities for its members, their patients, and the public.
